Travel

All travel arrangements to and from the retreat must be booked independently and are not include in the retreat costs.

We can arrange collection from Penzance train station if you let us know in advance.

Directions for Drivers:

Follow the A30 through Cornwall to Penzance.

As you approach Penzance, turn off the A30 at the Tesco roundabout towards Penzance town centre, then follow the road along the seafront to Newlyn.

In Newlyn, don’t follow the main road, which bends to the left towards Mousehole; instead carry straight on, up the hill, to Lamorna, B3315.

Stay on this road for about three miles, passing Lamorna Pottery on your right, then the turning for Lamorna Cove on your left.

Do not turn down the Cove road. About 300 yards after the turning for Lamorna Cove, take a track to your right.

Rosemerryn (house) is the third and last dwelling on the track.

If you reach Boleigh Farm on the main road, you have missed the turning for the track.

By Train:

GWR operate a frequent direct train service from London to Penzance – there is also a very good sleeper service, leaving London at 11.45pm an arriving in Penzance at about 8am the following morning.

There are also direct trains to Penzance from Scotland and from the Midlands.

The A1 bus to Lands End will bring you to the turning for Lamorna Cove (see above), known as Lamorna Turn.

Alternatively, there are always taxis outside the station; the journey from the station is about five miles.

By Plane:

Our nearest airport is Newquay, but the journey from there by train is tortuous. It is about 75 minutes by car from Newquay to Rosemerryn. Exeter Airport is three hours by train, or two hours by car.
