TheSummer Mist Bud Vasesare inspired by my early morning walks along the cliffs near my home in West Cornwall, those quiet moments when the soft sea air mingles with the drifting summer mist, and the landscape feels suspended between earth and sky.

Each vase is hand-built with care using traditional coiling and pinching techniques, allowing gentle, organic forms to emerge naturally from the clay. The smooth, tactile surfaces are enriched throughsaggar firing, a process that creates soft, smoky tones and subtle, unpredictable markings, echoing the fleeting beauty of mist over the Cornish coast.

The vases are treated with liquid quartz which create a waterproof seal on the unglazed surface making these elegant vessels perfect for holding flowers, or as sculptural accents that bring a sense of calm and natural beauty into any space.

As each piece is individually handmade and saggar fired,no two vases are ever alike, every one holds its own quiet story of earth, fire and sea air.
