This bespoke Raku day is a carefully created day tailored to suit the individual who would love to have a go at Raku.
An exclusive opportunity to work with Catherine on a one-one basis.
All materials are included along with 3 bisque fired ceramic pieces to glaze and Raku fire.
The Raku Experience lasts for 3 hours and includes a traditional Cornish Cream Tea.
Catherine’s large rural studio is about 10 minutes from Penzance and participants will need their own transport as the studio is not accessible by public transport.
Once purchased you will receive a digital download which you can print out or email to give as your gift. The recipient can contact me in advance to arrange a suitable day.
Participants are responsible for arranging local accommodation.

Spend a full day from 10am-4pm with Catherine in her large rural studio near Penzance in west Cornwall.
You will be provided with 8-12 pre-made and fired pieces. You can choose from a selection of tiles, small pots and bowls. Try out a range of glazes and be taught how to use different masking techniques to create a gorgeous selection of Raku ceramics which you can take with you at the end of the day.
You will leave with a good grounding in the Raku process and will have an exclusive Raku Ceramics booklet to take away with you. If you are planning to continue with the Raku journey you have access to a private Facebook group for ongoing support and inspiration.
Catherine creates a welcoming and supportive environment in her studio with copious amounts of tea, fresh coffee and cake, with a delicious light lunch also provided.
